HOW TO JOIN THE 2024 8 WEEK SPRING SHRED CHALLENGE

We are so excited to be announcing the first official Bodylura challenge!  While our name may be different, we still offer the same killer workouts, delicious recipes, community support, and life-changing fitness challenges! 


From May 6th to June 29th, we as a collective community are going to focus on taking our workouts, nutrition, and dedication up a notch.


At the end of the challenge, we will be selecting TWO winners, and the grand prizes are our biggest yet, to celebrate this being the first ever Bodylura challenge!!


Of course, the biggest reward will be the sense of accomplishment that comes from crushing your goals, getting stronger, faster, and seeing progress in ways you never thought possible!!

Here’s what you need to know: 

WHAT: Bodylura’s 8 Week Spring Shred Challenge
WHERE: Your workouts and nutrition support are in the Bodylura App, but don’t forget to check in with the #BodyluraNation on Instagram and in our Facebook group!
WHEN: May 6th to June 30th, 2024 

Other Important Challenge Dates:

May 6th: Week 1 Instagram Live Q+A

May 13th: Last day to submit starting photos

May 27th: Week 4 Instagram Live Q+A

June 28th: Week 8 Instagram Live Q+A

June 30th: Begin submitting final photos

July 8th: Last day to submit final photos

July 15th: Winners announced!!

PRIZES: 

FIRST PLACE (1 Winner): $3,000 USD Cash Prize, Vitalura Labs Protein Bundle, Shaker, Recipe Guide, and a one-year membership to Bodylura!

SECOND PLACE (1 Winner): $1,500 USD Cash Prize, Vitalura Labs Protein Bundle, Shaker, Recipe Guide, and a one-year membership to Bodylura!

 

HOW WE SELECT THE WINNERS: We'll choose the winners based on their dedication to the challenge and the community. Anna will be looking for the best transformation among those who support #BodyluraNation on Instagram and/or in the Facebook Group.


HOW TO JOIN: 

STEP 1: TAKE YOUR STARTING PROGRESS PHOTOS

Email your starting photos (front, side, and back photos) to transformations@bodylura.com by May 13th. 

Include your Bodylura Insta handle and which program you’re following, so we can help you stay accountable and keep track of your progress! P.S. We will never share progress photos without your explicit permission. ❤️

At the end of the challenge, email your final photos (in the same outfit and the same angles) by July 8th.

TIPS: How to Take Progress Photos

  • Ask someone you trust to take your photos, or use a tripod and camera with a timer, or find a full-length mirror that fits your body from head to toe.
  • Take the picture in natural lighting with no shadows and a solid-color background.
  • Wear shorts/underwear/bikini bottoms and a sports bra or bikini top, and try to wear the same outfit in your starting and ending photos.
  • Take one set of photos relaxed and one set flexing – but maintain good posture in both.
  • Take photos from the front, side and back each time.
  • Take a new set of progress photos every four weeks after the challenge ends to see your continued improvements.

 

STEP 2: COMMIT TO A WORKOUT SCHEDULE

Creating a schedule will help you prioritize and plan your workouts. At the very least, we suggest working out 3x a week for 30 minutes.

In the Bodylura App, we have 20 results-driven workout programs that you can do anywhere, anytime. Whether you have three days or six days a week to devote to your fitness routine, there’s an option for you.

 

STEP 3: STAY ON TOP OF YOUR NUTRITION

It can be difficult to figure out what healthy eating looks like for you (and to actually stick to that plan), but thankfully there are more than 300 recipes and 72 weeks of meal plans in the Bodylura App!

Regardless of the meal plan or eating style you choose to follow, here are some tips to consider when completing this challenge that will help maximize your results:

TIP: 

  • If you are not tracking your macros, aim to eat your protein and veggies first.
  • Focus on home cooked meals and limit take-outs to 1x per week.
  • Focus on 80/20 nutrition: 80% of the time, opt for macro balanced meals (meaning high protein, moderate carb and moderate fats with a solid serving of veggies, too!) and 20% of the time enjoy yummy, indulgent foods!

STEP 4: JOIN BODYLURA NATION

Weekly check-ins with the Bodylura community are a big part of this challenge. So, we’ll be catching up with you on the Bodylura IG and in the Bodylura Nation Facebook Community Group on a regular basis. You can always email us your questions at any time or save them for these check-ins where you can read and get feedback from Anna and others of #BodyluraNation, too!
